Thanks to all for paying your 2026 Annual dues on time!
Greetings Members of Hawk Ridge Community:
As we approach the Spring season, the Hawk Ridge HOA wants to remind each of you about our covenants that are in place to protect the appearance and property value of our neighborhood.
While, overall, our homeowners have done a very good job in complying with our covenants, this is a friendly reminder that there are some homeowners who are not in compliance with our covenants. Our HOA covenants help keep our neighborhood looking its best and protect property values for everyone.
With that said we wanted to address some areas needing attention. If the following apply to you, please take the time to correct the violation/s.
The most common violations over the past ten years have dealt with the following:
Paragraph 6.1 Improvement to Lots:
Para (m) Roof (Requires ARC approval for re-roofing)
Para (o) Exterior Paint Color (Requires ARC Approval for re-painting)
Para (p) Exterior Lights (Requires subtle illumination)
Para (r) Border Walls and Fences (Requires ARC Approval)
Para (w) Wildfire Mitigation (Requires removal of dead limbs/trees and keeping your grass mowed)
Paragraph 6.2 Use Restrictions:
Para (g) Storage of Vehicles (RVs, Recreational vehicles and trailers must be stored within a fenced area (7’ max ht), in a garage or and off-site facility.) All vehicles can be parked for a maximum of 2 weeks. Storing vehicles in the woods is not acceptable.
Para (i) Pets (Must be leashed when off the homeowners property)
You can find our covenants on this community website, and we urge every homeowner to read it as well as our Rule for Enforcement of Declaration of Covenants, Conditions (link), Restrictions and Lien for Hawk Ridge (link), authored by members of the ARC and reviewed and approved by your HOA Board in 2021, which is also on our website.
Please let one of the members of our ARC or any member of the Board know if you have any questions, we would be happy to answer them.
As we all know, the covenants are in place to maintain the appearance AND value of our community. We appreciate your cooperation so please make an effort to do your part to maintain the beauty and attractiveness of our Hawk Ridge Community.
Best regards,
Mike Feeney
President
